I love business cards!

I LOVE collecting business cards. Well, I like well designed business cards. When I went to NEPA Blog Con on Saturday, I really only found one girl with amazing ones. So, Kele, that means you! Great job! :)

Grey House Designs

Truthfully, I was embarrassed by mine. I didn’t find out I was going until 2 weeks before and pushed off ordering them. So, unfortunately, I had to order from a local place. The price wasn’t too bad for 250 cards ($71) but they were flimsy and not the best print. My design was also incredibly simple because I spent so much time trying to decide on a design that I said screw it. Essentially, I just went with my logo and contact info. As a designer, I was ashamed. So, NEPA Blog Con goers, if you are reading this, don’t judge me based on my cards!! That’s not how I usually roll.

Business Card Design

My favorite place to order business cards is from Moo.com. I designed and created both mine and Andrew’s last batch (free ones) and they came out perfectly. (Side note: I wish I had made mine the same time as Andrew’s because mine has a black bar at the bottom whereas Andrew’s has a small tab that says Moo.com.)

I plan to create a few different designs for my next batch (I’ll actually buy some rather than just pay for shipping) soon and get some ordered. Andrew will be needing some too as he has about 10 left.

Also, if you need a business card design done, let me know! All I ask is for you to allow me to put it up in my portfolio. (Contact info excluded, of course.)

I’ve heard of other places like UPrinting but not having seen some of their work, I don’t want to waste my money. Vistaprint is one of my least favorites because they are flimsy. However, that was years ago, so they may have gotten better.

Do you have a business card? Where did your order it?
Leave a link to a picture of it in the comments! :)

Hey! I Like your card though! :) If we exchange holiday cards we can exchange business cards too! I know mine was a premade from vistaprint but…I actually thought it was quite me, and it wasnt too horribly flimsy! Plus I couldn’t complain with all those items I got for 11 bucks! :)

Which plugin are you using to show your “you might like posts” at the bottom. I just tried one out yesterday and so far I am HATING it…I like the looks of the one you are using. …
